Day 1: Marrakech – Demnate – Imin-ifri – Ait Boulli
The trip to Demnate began at around eight in the morning, with a stop in the tiny village of Imin-ifri and a quick stroll around this remarkable natural landmark (the natural bridge). Discover dinosaur remnants beyond Tizi Noubadou village. Proceed down a winding road across the mountains to Ait Boulli’s red valley. Arrival at our Ait Boulli cottage. We will then have time in the afternoon to explore the area and get a taste of Berber daily life. 5H of the road. Spend the night in a guesthouse run by Berbers.
Day 2: Ait Boulli Valley – Tafenfant plateau – Arouss Valley
Enjoyable 3.5-hour stroll to reach the Tafenfant plateau. Meet the nomads and their flocks of sheep and goats. In the countryside, our cook will make lunch. Following two hours of strolling down a route that descends to the stunning Arouss Valley. six hours of walking (perhaps the longest day ever and a sportif day).
Day 3: Arouss Valley – Agouti – Aguerd N’ouzrou – Ait Imi
We leave Arouss after breakfast and travel to Agouti, a little berber village at an elevation of 700 meters at the base of the mgoun. Next, Idoukalen in Sidi Chita’s collective attic. We go through fields of apple trees, poplars, walnuts, and wheat. Gradually…). We’ll stop to watch the people going about their everyday business in the little grain mills and on the fields. Supper and the night in the village of Ait Imi. Walked for 4:30.
Day 4: Ait Imi – Adazene Mountains – Ait Hkem – Ait Ouchi Valley
Following breakfast, we travel to the village of Ibaquallioune, where the prehistoric ruins of a former attic stand in the center of the community and are a highly significant site. Next, a 400-meter ascent up the Adazen mountain. We’re going to have a picnic for lunch outside. We will reach our cottage in the village of Ait Ouchi, which is one of the settlements of the Happy Valley of Ait Bouguemez, after an hour of walking. Ait Ouchi is situated at an altitude of 2,000 meters. In Ait Ouchi for dinner and the night.
Day 5: Ait hkem – Ikhf N’ighir – Timit
We will be able to explore the Ait Bouguemez valley’s daily life and take in the breathtaking scenery throughout this stroll. To get to Iskatafene and the lovely settlement of Ikhf N’tinghir, we stroll down the valley. We’ll make our way up a short hill to the marabout of Sidi Moussa, a revered saint known for curing spiritual illnesses, and the collective attic. The structure doubles as a communal attic at the same time. It is a stronghold that was once used to store and/or preserve priceless documents, jewelry, and harvests. Beautiful view of the Ait Bougmez valley, also called the Happy Valley, in three directions.
Day 6: Timit – Azilal – Marrakech
We pick up the route to Azilal and eventually Marrakech to leave the lovely valley. We’ll eat lunch at a nearby restaurant on the way back to Marrakech. All day to explore the souks of the historic medina.
