Day 1: MARRAKECH – FOUM MLA’CHAR

If you want to discover the real Moroccan nomad hard life style, and how they are struggling in the heart of the desert every single day whatever the weather is so this trekking is the perfect option. Our trilingual driver will pick you up from Marrakech at the morning of the first day towards Foum Mla’char in the area of Zagora city (355 km) the departure of the trekking, there our stuff is waiting for you with your vehicle for the rest of the trip the camels, and we will spend the night there.

Day 2: FOUM MLA’CHAR – PALM OASIS

Our caravan will start walking on foot or riding a camel towards a wonderful river full of large Oasis of palm trees and water sources.

Day 3: TO MEET SOME LOCAL NOMADS

At the morning after having breakfast in the middle of nowhere, we will keep moving to meet some local nomads whom relying on their cattle as the source of livelihood,

Day 4: ENJOY THE DESERT DUNES OF ERG CHIGAGA

From now on you are a part of the desert life, the sunset of the 4th day will be in the gate of the great Moroccan desert Chegaga, with its golden dunes and hot sun rays you will lost yourself.

Day 5: REGION ERG CHIGAGA

The next morning you will walk through a sandy path towards the only source of water in the region in the middle of the dunes a deep well or fox well as the locals call it.

Day 6: THROUGH THE DESERT DUNES – ERG LGHRAIR

After walking and stumbling through the dunes now we will follow up our trip through a dusty rocky plateau to the endings of Erg Lghrair

Day 7: ERG LGHRAIR – DRAA VALLEY – ERG AZ-ZAHAR

On our camels we will pass through valley Dr’aa towards Erg Az-zahar the biggest dune in the west south of Morocco, on the top of the dune you could see the Moroccan-Algerian border.

Day 8: ERG AZ-ZAHAR – M’HAMID EL GHIZLAN – SIDI NAJI

After walking the last kilometers of our trip we will be at the area of M’hamid El Ghizlan Sidi Naji graveyard, and there we will spend the last night of our trekking.

Day 9: M’HAMID EL GHIZLAN – MARRAKECH

It’s time for us to take you to your next location, which could be Agadir, a stunning coastal city, or the energetic city of Marrakech.
