Day 1: Arrival Tangier
Spend the day exploring Tangier, the enigmatic port city. Situated just across the Strait of Gibraltar from Spain, Tangier captivates visitors with attractions like the Kasbah, Cap Spartel, and the Heracles Caves. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Tangier.
Day 2: Tanger – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
There are two ways to reach Tetouan and its UNESCO-listed Medina: you can take the direct inland route or opt for the scenic Cape Malabata coastal road, which leads to Ceuta and provides stunning views of the Strait of Gibraltar and the Rif mountains meeting the Mediterranean’s deep blue waters (an additional 40 km). This route then ascends into the Rif mountains, passing through picturesque countryside before arriving at the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
